Jonathan earned his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2018. While in school, Jonathan served on the Journal of International and Comparative Law for two years, earned a certificate in Business Law, and gained experience through his work in the tax law clinic. Starting after his third year of law school, Jonathan utilized his time outside of class working as a Law Clerk in a boutique law firm aiding in immigration, intellectual property, business, and real estate cases.

Prior to attending law school, Jonathan worked as professional writer/producer in the fields of technology and entertainment at companies such as AOL and CBS Interactive. Jonathan also holds a bachelor's degree in International Business & Economics from Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan.
